Aimed to inspire young students’ love of learning through engaging and interactive learning activities, KTC has continued its second edition of Play and Learn (PAL) Programme for this year. In 2024, KTC will organize PAL programme at 3 schools from Bongawan district, including SK Viging Ulu, SK Sumbiling and SK Mandahan.
The first session of the programme was conducted on 2 May 2024, involving 42 students from SK Viging Ulu, Bongawan, with 11 KTC Trainees, 6 KTC staff and 2 volunteers from Group Security (GS), SOGT and Kimanis Power Plant (KPP) each.
Through the carefully designed hands-on activities aimed at improving problem-solving skills and fostering creativity, students from Year 1 to Year 3 are also encouraged to develop a keen interest in the subjects of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).
As a collaborative approach with Petrosains and other PETRONAS OPU’s including Sabah Oil and Gas Terminal, Kimanis Power Plant and Group Security, PAL Programme is a part of KTC’s initiative in promoting early learning campaign, aligned with PETRONAS Powering Knowledge pillar under social impact management. Under this pillar, we aim to create awareness, access and opportunities for young people to quality education.
