INSTEP Learners win PEARSON Awards Again!

Institut Teknologi Petroleum PETRONAS (INSTEP) won the “Outstanding Learner” and “Centre of Excellence” Awards during the Pearson Medallion Award Ceremony on 27 August 2016 at Le Meridien Hotel, Kuala Lumpur. Tony Collingridge, Director of UK Trade and Investment graced the auspicious occasion.

INSTEP has been recognised as a Centre of Excellence for delivering Pearson BTEC International qualifications for two consecutive years.  The winners are highly valued due to the proven track records and achievements amongst over 100 Pearson centres in Malaysia.

INSTEP is proud that two of its Petroleum Technology Programme – 1 (PTP-1) learners, Mohamad Amin Afandi Abd Khoder and Siti Norbaya Yahya received the Outstanding Pearson Learner Awards 2015.  These awards are presented to high achievers among thousands of students who sat for exams and are recognised among the country and world’s best performing students.

Chandramohan Saminathan, CEO PTTSB, received Pearson Centre of Excellence Award from Mr. Simon Young, Portfolio Director, Pearson UK.

These recognitions mark a significant milestone that further enhances INSTEP’s role and capability as a leading partner of choice in oil and gas technical learning and certification.
