30 Job Ready Technicians Produced from INSTEP TEP Programme

On 31 July 2024, INSTEP marks another milestone in its achievements as PETRONAS’ technical training arm, celebrating 30 learners from Technical Energy Enrichment Programme (TEP), under the sponsorship of PETRONAS Downstream and PETRONAS Gas & Maritime Business. The graduated learners are from Process trade. 

The 10-month training programme is curated with the learning block comprising of Competency Based Assessment (CBA) modules, which are based on PETRONAS Occupational Skill Standard (POSS) and complemented with experiential learning at UDTP.

Also present during the event were En. Fauzamsaari bin Geran Head of Plant, PETRONAS Chemical MTBE, and En. A Fatah bin Abu Mansor, Head of Special Projects, PETRONAS Gas Business.

En. Mohamad bin Nasir, Chief Executive Officer of INSTEP emphasised on the importance of nurturing technical talents to sustain PETRONAS’ growth well beyond its 50th anniversary. 

“As we look ahead to PETRONAS’s future beyond its 50th anniversary, the graduates we are celebrating today, will be the future leaders that will lead the energy frontier in the upcoming times, ready to shape energy industry and made a positive impact on the nation and the world,” he mentioned in his welcoming remarks.
